The Academy of Chocolate was founded in 2005 in London by professionals and chocolate lovers united in the belief that eating fine chocolate is one of life’s great pleasures. The Academy campaigns for better chocolate and it promotes a greater awareness of the difference between fine chocolate and the mass-produced chocolate confectionery.

Every year the Academy organizes an important event, the “Chocolate Awards”, at which many producers attend every year from all sides of the world.

For this 2017 Awards, we submitted six products and five of them have been awarded. More in particular: the Cappucino Cremino won the category “Layered chocolate”; the Maximo+39 won the category “Nut based chocolate”; the Pistachio, Bergamot, Lemon and cloves Ganaches have all three been awarded in their “Ganaches category”.

It’s not the first time that our specialties have been awarded by this important institution: Sea Salt Cremino was “Best praline in the world” in 2008 and our Hot Chocolate Powder was “Best hot chocolate –Bronze award” in 2011.
