The sustainable chocolate by Guido Gobino, even at Easter.
Chontalpa chocolate, The first Slow Food Presidium chocolate.
Since 2014, in collaboration with Slow Food, the company has been committed to buying the entire production of the Slow Food Presidium Cacao from Chontalpa in Mexico. In this way, the short distribution chain guarantees a fair wage to local farmers for the raw material.
“The future of small artisan companies is closely related to the successful plantation from which they depend on” says Guido Gobino. “This is an opportunity for us to move towards targets such as sustainability and the direct cooperation with manufacturers in order to improve their working conditions and ensure an ever increasing quality of our chocolate”.
For Easter, the Chontalpa Chocolate line by Guido Gobino has added two eggs: a refined egg weighing 500 grams, entirely decorated by hand and presented in our packaging manufactured without glue; and another simpler egg, weighing 430 grams, part of the collection “uova fazzoletto”.
Both eggs are produced with single origin 63% Extra Bitter Chocolate made from Chontalpa cocoa from the Tabasco region, in Mexico and they both contain a dedicated surprise.
