Organized by Slow Food, Piedmont Region and the City of Turin, the Salone del Gusto is an international exhibition dedicated to food and wine that takes place every two years in Turin, with small producers and artisans coming from all over the world. This year the event will be from the 22nd until the 26th september, and it will be for the first time outside the usual Lingotto Conference Centre to be into the heart of Turin itself.
The Artisanal Chocolate Factory booth will be the D034, between the Parco del Valentino, Corso Massimo and the Architecture Faculty of Turin. Moreover, Guido Gobino will also be in the Terra Madre section. In both areas you will be more than welcome to come and visit, to enjoy our chocolate tastings and find out our new specialties.
During the Exhibition, Guido Gobino Headquarters on Via Cagliari will officially become “Casa Mexico”. To celebrate the collaboration with Slow Food and the new Chontalpa Chocolate line, Guido Gobino Chocolate Factory will all become the place where to celebrate Mexico, his cacao and the small producers who work with us. There will be a whole 3-days party where it will be possible to make a tour into the factory, browse around while watching all production processes and taste the Chontalpa chocolate world.
The tours will start at 10.00 / 11.00 / 12.00 / 14.00 / 15.00 / 16.00, will be hold in Italian or English and will be led by Guido Gobino Staff. To sign in, please send an email to casamexico@guidogobino.it and say name, lastname, phone number, number of people, language requested, day and time chosen. You will afterwards receive an email with the confirmation of the tour.
There will also be a final party on Saturday the 24th at 7 pm that will take place on via Cagliari 15b, where also all delegates from Mexican Slow Food Presidio, together with some official diplomatic member of the institution will attend.
Finally, during these important days, Guido Gobino will also present his first personal “Contest”: an international open call dedicated to artists from all over the world.
